Verdict
Fair to say that Barley Mow has not really built on the promise of his juvenile season so far this term and others make more appeal, notably the Gosden-trained unbeaten colt, CLOUDSCAPE. It's an interesting contest full of types that should be watched with the future in mind but the son of Dansili maintained his progression when sent into tough handicap company on just his second career start when staying on strongly over course and distance on reappearance. The form has been franked by the runner-up and he should be able to take this move into Listed grade in his stride. Bremner and Mutakayyef are obvious improvers but Postponed looks the main threat. A progressive juvenile, he proved that he has trained on with a solid third place behind Guineas contender Toormore in the Group 3 Craven Stakes last month.
