      Verdict

      Air Pilot won this back in 2014 and was an unlucky second last year. He won a Group 2 and a Group 3 in France at the start of the season so is no back number but COLLIDE (NAP) has looked a colt going places since his debut at Pontefract in July. He won a Class 3 handicap by five lengths off a mark of 87 last time and should be more than capable of holding his own in this grade, especially on his favoured soft going. Plutonian has had a light campaign and was second in this grade at Goodwood in September so shouldn’t be far away but Willie Mullins’ mare True Self may not have the pace for this as her recent wins have come over longer distances and she stays 2m. Maverick Wave didn’t reappear until two weeks ago and may need another run and Frankuus is best watched after another lay-off.
