Verdict

A trappy contest with little separating the main protagonists at the weights but TEAMtalk preference is for Finished Article. David Elsworth's charge is at his best when produced off a strong pace over this trip on fast ground and should go well with conditions in his favour. Summer View hails from a yard in blistering form at present and has claims on recent performances such as a Pontefract handicap success over Far Lane and a placed effort in a similar contest Goodwood last time. Yarmouth maiden winner Eljohar has clearly had his problems but with his stable in such fine form it would be unwise to ignore his chance based on a below par outing last month while Passing Glance is a confirmed front runner who should prove hard to peg back. Tom's Cruising was an easy Newcastle maiden winner last month and is open to any amount of improvement so also enters calculations.
