In depth

Verdict

Not much form to go on in this but Raaeb was well backed against more experienced rivals at Doncaster. Always travelling strongly, he showed a nice turn of foot to put the issue to bed and should make a bold bid to defy his penalty. Finest Sound has placed twice at Sandown and it would be no surprise to see him in the frame again but a couple of debutants make more appeal. Dewhurst entry VATICAN CITY should have a bright future as a brother to five winners, including the classic winners Gleneagles and Marvellous, and he can make a winning start. Captivated has a less impressive pedigree but John Gosden’s youngsters rarely arrive at the track undercooked.
