Verdict
Turntable is at his best here and finished runner-up in this last year when Notre Belle Bete was third. The latter won at the All-Weather Championships last month while MAJESTIC (NAP) finished a creditable fourth in the Lincoln. Jack Channon’s charge won the Cambridgeshire over track and trip last season with Dual Identity and Jimi Hendrix behind and the latter recently landed the Spring Cup at Newbury in first-time blinkers. Empirestateofmind finished behind the selection in the Lincoln but ran well here last time while King Of Conquest scored in Bahrain in February. Ryan Moore gets the leg-up on Cadillac while Frankie is reunited with Saga, who gets a change of headgear.
