Shaquille’s only defeat so far came in a Group 3 contest and he makes his seasonal and handicap debut having beaten Almaty Star at York last autumn. The latter has a recent outing under his belt while Chasseral and Buccabay are others handicapping for the first time. Expert Agent has notched a hat-trick of lower grade races on the all-weather this year but EMINENCY ran into all sorts of trouble when sent off favourite at Kempton on his reappearance, only finishing fourth. Normal luck in-running should see Clive Cox’ charge go close in this.
