In depth

Verdict

A race moved from it’s usual slot at Sandown and it looks a good opportunity for ADAYAR. The 2021 Derby and King George winner looked as good as ever in both starts last year having just missed out in the Champion Stakes at Ascot in October. Anmaat ended last year with a Group 2 victory in France for which he’s penalised while the progressive handicap winner Francesco Clemente is upped in class this season with the Gosdens’ attempting to land this for the third time in succession. Sir Michael Stoute also has fine record in this but Regal Reality has plenty to find and so does the Lincoln winner Migration.
