In depth

Verdict

A typical July Meeting handicap sprint to close the day in which all can be considered. The need to get a clear run will be paramount so this might just suit a strong traveller such as GOOD LUCK FOX. He impressed when scoring at Musselburgh latest, has his optimum conditions and David Egan is a good booking for the gelding who receives weight all round. Operatic gives the impression that this first sortie over the minimum trip could really suit, whilst Twilight Calls, backed as if defeat was out of the question at Leicester, is presumably better than he showed that day. The likes of Beyond Equal, Show Me Show Me and Nibras Again are just three others with claims in an ultra-competitive finale.
