The unbeaten NATIVE TRAIL is the only Group 1 winner in the field. He returned the impressive winner of the National Stakes at the Curragh last month so the Godolphin colt looks the one to beat. Straight Answer is upped in trip having landed a Listed race over 6f at Fairyhouse in fine style but it would be no surprise if Ger Lyons’ colt is up to this level while Aidan O’Brien is no stranger to winning this and runs Curragh maiden winner Glounthaune. Bayside Boy just prevailed in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster and could go well while Go Bears Go was only beaten a length in the Middle Park here and can figure if lasting home. Berkshire Shadow can do better back over today’s longer trip and is preferred to Dubawi Legend and Dhabab of the rest.
