Verdict

Charlie Appleby sent out last year’s winner and COROEBUS has the form in the book. The latter was caught right on the line in the Group 2 Royal Lodge over track and trip a fortnight ago and any further improvement will make him hard to beat. Acomb runner-up Imperial Fighter has a bit to find with the selection on collateral form. Jockey bookings suggests Naas maiden winner United Nations is preferred of the three Ballydoyle representatives but Alflaila came up short in Listed company at Doncaster while novice winners Dubai Poet and Tacarib Bay are others upped in class.
