Verdict
Last Sovereign returned to form in a claimer over 6f at Ripon last time and will find this tougher. Fratellino is preferred on his recent efforts in Listed company and the two recent Sandown winners, Doctor Parkes and Rebecca Romero, can both be given a chance. AVON BREEZE will need to improve again after her latest win at Carlisle but given she's shown progressive form all year, Richard Whitaker's filly gets the speculative vote to defy another 5lb rise. Midnight Rider makes a belated seasonal debut off a higher mark after ending last season with a win at Warwick but soft ground would be more to his liking.
