In depth
Verdict
Most of these are in very good form especially Global Gift, who is improving rapidly but 7lb higher for last month's hat-trick at Doncaster. Moqtarreb is also making excellent progress judged on his easy victory here last month but WINGS OF TIME gets the vote after returning from a long break and just failing to hold Cadre Du Noir here last month. He may have bumped into a smart one there while Ulshaw Bridge wouldn't be running here with a big weight unless thought capable of going close. Balgair was carrying a huge weight when runner-up here last month while Nkosikazi was having her first start for new connections when runner-up at Lingfield. None of the remainder can be dismissed including Artistic Rifles, whose winning run came to an end on good to soft ground at Sandown.
