Verdict

Spring Jig couldn't get to the leaders at Sandown but stayed on nicely over that 7f so tonight's trip is certain to suit. Ghayyar looks best of Richard Hannon's pair despite finishing almost last at Goodwood where he was pushed wide at the bend. He's likely to leave that form behind but there are some potentially useful newcomers engaged. Glencadam Glory is from the first crop of Nathaniel out of a mare who has already produced three winners but it's HAMADA who catches the eye. A son of Cape Cross out of a mare from a staying family this trip looks ideal for starters. The filly Alapinta has a very smart pedigree and is one to note in the market.
