    Verdict

Al Suhail only weakened close home when third in the Solario Stakes and has every chance if staying the extra furlong. MILITARY MARCH, a brother to useful stayer Clongowes, also wears the all-blue of Godolphin and he looked a useful prospect when overcoming inexperience to make a winning debut on the July course here in the summer. The New Approach colt gets the nod ahead of Molatham, who stayed on strongly to take a Listed race at Doncaster last month and represents Roger Varian, who won this in 2013 with subsequent St Leger winner Kingston Hill. Cherokee Trail and Dontaskmeagain are both unbeaten and Johan, who will handle conditions, is another chasing a hat-trick but Ropey Guest has had numerous chances while Persia will need more to figure in this grade.
