Verdict

David Elsworth's SUNLEY SPINALONGA has shown improved form of late with wins over course and distance and at Sandown prior to finding Super Duplex two lengths too good over 1m4f at Windsor last time and she looks worth backing to resume winning ways racing off the same mark today but dropped back in trip. Willie Musson's Broughtons Paradis does not know how to run a bad race at present but he has a poor strike-rate having only won once from 21 starts and of more interest may be Micky Hammond's Avitus, who is only 2lb higher than when scoring at Pontefract last month. Amy Weaver's Grams And Ounces has every chance on recent improved form but he has harshly gone up 3lb for his second at Doncaster last month and may be booked for a place at best, while Kyle of Bute seems to be in the grip of the handicapper at present.
