        Verdict

        Flashbang will need to progress from her Pontefract third to figure here but Heatherbird and Tanassuq should improve on promising debuts at the back-end of last season. Richard Hills could presumably have taken the ride on the latter but has instead chosen to partner the unraced ELRAABEYA, who gets the vote. Sir Michael Stoute's filly is closely related to several useful performers in Canada and has obviously been showing something at home. Deity and To The Spring are other newcomers to note, though the latter probably won't realise her potential until tackling trips in excess of a mile.
