    Verdict

Market support for Royal Diamond must be respected however CHIBERTA KING is a horse in good form and is selected here ahead of Strathcal and Gordonsville. Andrew Balding's course winner ran a blinder at the track last time out, only finding the well-handicapped Tinaar too strong. Although he has finished second several times there is nothing wrong with his attitude and if he gets this longer trip then he may be hard to beat. Royal Diamond progressed with every start last year and stays well; he was behind the selection last time out but did beat him at Ffos Las in September. Gala Evening is a strong stayer who unseated his rider over hurdles last month, Keenes Day is a consistent stick (bar the Cesarewitch when last seen), whilst Swiss Act looks handicapped to win races after three average runs this season. Gordonsville ran well at Hamilton last time out and his trainer doesn't send too many horses to the track, so along with Judgethemoment and Mykingdomforahorse is not dismissed lightly. Moonbeam Dancer and Strathcal need to step up on their latest efforts now back over 14 furlongs, however we are happy to side with Chiberta King.
