Verdict

Three-year-olds don't have a great record in this but Ornate is better than he showed in a Listed contest at Sandown last time and can make his presence felt. Steady Pace finished an excellent third in the Middle Park before being sent to Dubai where he scored on Meydan's Dirt track and he needed his comeback a month ago. Monsieur Joe had his stable companion LINE OF REASON (NAP) over a length behind when scoring at Hamilton and though beaten twice subsequently he's run well. The latter had previously broke the track record at Beverley and slightly missed the break on the Scottish track so he's taken to gain revenge and land this. Hay Chewed has been racing well out of her class and should appreciate the drop in grade.
