Verdict
The form of WHITE DESERT’s narrow defeat by Glencadam Glory, rated 110, in a maiden at Wolverhampton shouldn’t be taken too literally but the Godolphin charge still finished seven lengths clear of the rest. He gets the nod on his handicap debut ahead of Abareeq, beaten only a length in a handicap at Chester last week and stepping up in distance. Hawridge Flyer was placed in a handicap at Windsor recently when in front of See Of Rome while Magellan landed a maiden at Newcastle in October. Sporting Times may do better back on a faster surface today and makes most appeal of the remainder.
