Verdict
Ostilio has now finished runner-up in all four starts and was well beaten in second at Yarmouth last time. Chelmsford novice winner Mushtaq failed to cope with a penalty on his reappearance at Nottingham and Christopher Wood returned a losing favouite at Epsom. But EXHORT (NAP) was beaten only a length at Beverley on her handicap debut and the winner has subsequently gone in again. That suggests Richard Fahey’s filly can score off her current mark and she gets the nod to come out best. Rogue won a handicap last year but remains 4lb higher and the unexposed Amplification may prove a bigger threat.
