Verdict

Farleigh House, Gold Option and Bold Abbott are three against the field in a competitive affair and the vote is given to Farleigh House. The selection was a good second behind Rallying Cry last time out. That form has since been franked and with more improvement likely under similar conditions he will be hard to beat. Gold Option rates the main danger as he was sent off favourite on his debut when only eighth behind Hanging On and he is clearly thought capable of better so should be noted in the market. Bold Abbott is another that could go well on his latest second behind Furnace but he has already given the impression he would be suited by a longer trip in time and is passed over with this in mind. Benny The Bat showed a modicum of ability on his debut and is another that is sure to improve but in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to Farleigh House.
