    Verdict

Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Al Qasi, Guildenstern and Greenwood and the narrow nomination is given to Guildenstern. The selection won with a little in hand last time out when beating Romany Nights and although having a penalty for that win he looks a progressive type and is taken to defy the handicapper under conditions that suit. Al Qasi rates the main danger as he won well last time when beating The History Man but he was all out on that occasion and will need to improve again to win off this higher mark in what looks a tougher race. Greenwood is another that could go well on his latest second behind Lincolneurocruiser but he has had plenty of chances off similar marks without winning and is again passed over. Marmooq hails from a shrewd yard and is another to note in the market but he has yet to prove he is as effective over this trip and in a tight affair for the winner we are happy to return to Guildenstern.
