Although there will be a strong temptation for followers of the champion jockey, Kieren Fallon, to side with Coy as the Danehill filly makes her reappearance today, it will be dangerous to ignore Almuraad and, as such, the son of Machiavellian is given preference out of the Sir Michael Stoute-trained pair in the field. The three-year-old holds Psychiatrist on a line through Privy Seal from last year and looks set to have a better campaign now that he has another year behind him. Stoute is a past master at getting the best out of horses of his type and a bold bid is anticipated from this expensive purchase. Bayeaux and Mukafeh were both slightly disappointing on their first outings of the season but are entitled to have come on for the run and are respected accordingly. However, Almuraad holds plenty of Group race entries and it will be a big disappointment to his connections if he does not start to show exactly why this afternoon.
