        Verdict

        Kalasam, Gallego and The Flying Cowboy are the three to look at here with preference for The Flying Cowboy. Despite some promising efforts, Kalasam was allowed to slip down the handicap and duly took advantage at Leicester before finishing a close third when made favourite at Sandown last time. He has gone up the weights here and may have to settle for a place again. Gallego chased home The Flying Cowboy at Leicester and is now three pounds better off for half a length. He advertised the merit of that form by scoring at Salisbury next time over a mile, before a tardy start didnt stop him turning in a good effort in defeat at Haydock. He will be thereabouts but his wins to runs ratio is concerning. The Flying Cowboy is six pounds higher than when scoring at Leicester, but that was only his fourth run and he showed improvement last time. In the belief that he can progress further here, a chance is taken that he can act just as well on the likely faster ground. The Flying Cowboy can shoot down his rivals.
