Verdict
Charlie Appleby has won the last two renewals of this prize so Bold Act and Highbank have plenty to live up to in pursuit of this prize and the market is likely to guide as to their respective places in the pecking order. Conquistador is related to a winner over 7f and John Gosden’s debutant is respected but DARTMAN was due to contest a hot looking maiden at Newbury a week ago and if turning up today, Brian Meehan’s gelding must enter calculations. The Parent was a fairly early foal and connections have been patient with the son of Frankel.
