    FRANCESCO CLEMENTE holds entries in the Great Voltigeur and the St Leger so any ambitions of those assignments will require him to be comfortably seeing off today’s more exposed rivals. Miramichi was disappointing at Newbury when failing to quicken and the going really shouldn’t have been an issue for Tom Dascombe’s charge. Menai Bridge has failed to build upon a decent win on Lingfield in February while Love Is Golden performed better at Haydock on his most recent start than his finishing position may suggest.
