Verdict

No Not Again's debut third on soft going at Newbury sets the standard in this but it's not a particularly high one and he may find a couple of the newcomers too strong. Alfarris hails from an in-form yard but doesn't have an eye-catching pedigree or any fancy entries. RED LABEL is by Dubawi and a half-brother to a juvenile winner over this trip. His yard's two-year-olds often improve for the run but we'll take a chance that this one is sharp enough first-time up. Doctor Bartolo is related to winners up to 1m2f and by Sir Prancealot, who has produced plenty of two-year-old winners this year, so warrants respect.
