        Verdict

        Though the yard had an odds-on failure with a similar type at Lingfield earlier this week, this looks a good opportunity for VIA SERENDIPITY to finally open his account even though he looked a trifle one-paced when beaten at Yarmouth nine days ago. Century Dream showed plenty of promise when fifth at Ascot, however, and a market check is advised on the likes of the New Approach colt Quloob and the French-bred Mathix. Mudallel may be best of the rest.
