Verdict

The betting will help but Timetable and Almoutezah may be the two to focus on here with the vote going to Henry Cecil's colt. The son of Observatory only missed a winning debut by a neck on his sole start at two and there was plenty to like about that performance. He's a half-brother to the same stable's top class Passage Of Time and has been handed a Group 1 entry himself so connections will be hopeful that he can win his maiden before stepping up in class. Almoutezah also has some big race entries to her name and this expensive Storm Cat filly was backed to make a winning debut last year. She was beaten just over 3 lengths but could only finish eighth and will be expected to leave that form behind in due course. French Art was below par last time and is best watched and Expresso Star could emerge as a bigger danger although he has a little to find on the bare form. Resurge should be in the mix but the future of one or two of these lies in handicap company. That may not be the case with the selection though and Timetable may be able to take this before having his sights raised.
