Prohibit is marginally preferred to Ancien Regime whilst Fol Hollow is better than he showed last time and Quest For Success could go well at a bigger price. The selection made a winning return to action in a competitive handicap at this venue; Fol Hollow was back in third with Victorian Bounty and Carleton further down the field. He was raised by 5lbs for that win and has gone up by another 4 for finishing third in a Listed race on unsuitably soft ground so has work to do at the weights but gives the impression that he's better than a handicapper. That remark could also be applied to Ancien Regime who was a popular selection prior to his return to action over seven furlongs. He got a little worked up before the race and was a shade disappointing but that outing should have taken the edge off him and it would be no surprise to see him deliver the goods this afternoon. Fol Hollow has to put a poor run behind him and there were no obvious excuses for the display but it's too soon to write him off and he wasn't far behind Prohibit at Newmarket. Victorian Bounty and Brassini both won well last time and are two of several that enter calculations but we'll take a closer look at Quest For Success. He made a satisfactory debut for new connections at Nottingham in a fair handicap where he had Mister Hardy behind and may be able to build on that. Our vote, though, goes to Prohibit.
