Verdict
Calcutta is the oldest in the line up, but still has strong claims, however we will give the vote to King's Majesty, Polar Magic can also be expected to go well. Sir Michael Stoute's colt made a belated reappearance in a competitive handicap here at Newmarket and duly landed the spoils. They performance was all the more impressive as he was short of room at a vital stage and with further improvement expected he looks the best option here. Calcutta was third in a very competitive handicap at York won by Momtic. He runs off the same mark here this afternoon and will be hard to keep out of the money. Polar Magic holds his form well and wasn't beaten far behind My Paris at Doncaster last time. He is a relatively fresh horse and should give a good account. Ettrick Water is steadily dropping down the weights and could be the pick of the remainder, however King's Majesty has so much scope for improvement he has to be the pick.
