Jimmy The Guesser deserves to get his head in front following some decent efforts this term and does have form on a soft surface so gets the vote to gain that well earned victory ahead of recent winners Secret Liaison and Macedon. The last mentioned has won both his starts this term but he is unlikely to appreciate the underfoot conditions so is probably best watched. The Barry Hills-trained Muzher may well have needed the run at Kempton last time on his first start since May and has ground conditions to suit so he cannot be discounted. David Elsworth's Hill Spirit has shown improved form of late but may now be a shade high in the weights, while Give Me The Night has not been seen since March and may need the run. Secret Liaison is clearly in very good form at present but Sir Mark Prescott's gelding may not be as effective on this ground so a better bet may be Jimmy The Guesser, who has proven form on this surface.
