      Verdict

      QAMARAIN has been absent since a very encouraging debut on the Rowley Mile Course in October. It's an obvious concern but that maiden has worked out well and hopefully she'll be ready to start making up for lost time. Chiefofchiefs made a bright start behind the odds-on In The City here last month and looks certain to make progress while Lord Of The North was sent to France last time after a close third in a maiden here. Perfectly Spirited is a half-sister to a couple of winners and is one to keep an eye on for the future.
