      Verdict

      Richard Hannon sent out last year’s winner and CLASSIC has run two solid races in defeat. He has some fancy entries in the coming weeks and will have to win this if he is to take up any of those engagements. Berkshire Phantom has found only one too good the last twice and will make sure he doesn’t have things entirely his own way but the Sea The Stars newcomer Obelix may have a brighter long-term future.
