Verdict
SHIGAR (NAP) is potentially well treated having a first run in a handicap. He met trouble in-running at Lingfield last month but still won a shade cosily and the second, third and fourth have franked the form since – Adam Farragher’s claim is a bonus. Tropez Power has been placing in small fields but has become frustrating to follow. A similar comment applies to Dion Baker but A E Housman and Yantarni are unexposed and fitness is unlikely to be an issue with the latter. The Covex Kid bids for a sixth win of the campaign but Alooqaal runs on Turf for the first time since joining Mick Appleby.
