In depth

Verdict

Not much form to go no here but the shortlist contains Swiss Franc, Creative and Wolgan Valley and the vote is given to the last mentioned. It has been a good start to the season for Godolphin and this well-bred colt will not have to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning debut here. Swiss Franc looks the best of those with racecourse experience as he was a good third behind Yem Kinn on his debut at Ascot. However, the horse that finished second in that race has since let the form down so he may be worth taking on. Creative is another interesting newcomer although he is bred to be better over a slightly longer trip. Notepad is another newcomer that could be worth a look in the market which could provide plenty of clues. but in the absence of that information we will side with Wolgan Valley as the one to beat.
