Verdict

Ladies Best gets the confident vote here over Coeur de Lionne and Eradicate. The selection won well here last time when he got the better of Buccallati over 1m and as he was doing his best work at the finish this step-up in trip is a definite plus. This faster ground should also suit and he is hard to oppose. Coeur de Lionne comfortably accounted for Alexander Guru last time at Kemton and he has to be of interest on his handicap bow, although it is hard to know what he actually beat last time. Eradicate has shown plenty of promise in each of his three runs to date and he won well last time when beating Haarth Sovereign. The stable are in decent form and he is another that has to enter calculations. To The Max and Smokey Oakey will have to improve to get competitive and for the winner we will stick with Ladies Best who should prove tough to beat.
