    Verdict

FAYLAQ, a 1.5million gns son of Dubawi out of the brilliant Danedream, has gone up a massive 12lb for a facile victory in a Class 4 handicap at Ripon so coming here with a 6lb penalty looks an obvious choice and it will be a surprise if he’s beaten. West Newton has returned to action in good form, scoring over this trip at Doncaster and only upped 2lb. Isolate was beaten a long way on soft ground at Salisbury while Paddy The Chef finished last on his comeback at Leicester and French Riviera was beaten 30 lengths at Goodwood.
