Verdict

Leo Minor won this last year and is 8lb lower due to moderate subsequent form. His stable also run Burford Brown and Grandfather Tom with preference for the former, a winner at Ascot who couldn’t handle the step up to a Class 3 last time. Maygold has gone up 8lb for winning at Salisbury, which makes this much tougher, while Nibras Again prefers faster ground though would have a fine chance at these weights if the going dried out. HAWAAM is 1-18 but is generally consistent at this level and looks to have as good a chance as any in a competitive finale.
