        Verdict

        Mrs Sippy can be slowly away but overcame that trait to land a Listed contest at Longchamp earlier this month with a bit in hand. David Simcock’s filly looks the pick of the three-year-olds as Sun Maiden has not built on early promise, though had no chance at York last time behind Lah Ti Dar. Crimson Rosette has improved markedly since winning a handicap at Doncaster in the spring. She wasn’t entirely disgraced in a Group 2 at Deauville last month and makes more appeal than stablemate Mia Tesoro. STAR ROCK is two from two here and the one to beat on recent placed form in Group 2 races at Goodwood and Baden Baden, though she will need Highgarden to set a strong pace. Rasima steps up in trip but could be suited and she has place claims.
