In depth

Verdict

This doesn't appear to be the strongest of two-year-old maidens and so the newcomers Reviving and Teddy Monty have to be respected, however we will side with Classic Encounter who looks set to step up on his debut effort. David Simcock's colt was thrown in a at the deep end in that Windsor event and did well to finish third behind two previous winners Green Park and Scarlet Knight. A repeat of that effort should be good enough here, but he is likely to progress and looks impossible to oppose. Mick Quinn's juveniles have been in great form so if Teddy Monty, a son of Bold Fact, is well supported in the ring take note. Reviving is a nicely bred son of Fasiliev and hails from yard that usually has a couple of decent juveniles. As with Teddy Monty the market should give a guide to his chances. The rest make little appeal and so it doesn't look too difficult a task for Classic Encounter who should easily land the spoils.
