Verdict

This is a tricky puzzle to solve with none of the six runners ruled out, though Godolphin’s Endless Gold was easily brushed aside at Sandown by a favourite who was beaten at odds-on at Redcar last week. Surrey Hope is two from two this year but has gone up another 7lb. Daira Prince has only gone up 3lb for a Yarmouth win and Peak Princess sports cheekpieces after a narrow defeat on her reappearance at Leicester. Another Yarmouth winner, Rigoletto, is thoroughly unexposed but REBEL DE LOPE appeared to be coming to hand when fifth here earlier in the month. This is a big drop in class and Charlie Hills’ colt is starting to look well treated.
