Verdict

Don't Give Up, a son of Dubawi, wasn’t hard pressed to make a winning debut at Kempton last month but, though he has plenty of scope, the form is nothing special. He has to give 5lb to TO DIBBA and that may hand the advantage to Roger Varian’s grey, who was possibly an unlucky loser at Yarmouth after getting off the mark at Leicester. Pillar Of Society is still climbing the weights but was only beaten a nose at Bath after winning at Windsor and is in good form. Brilliant Vanguard is usually thereabouts but Showboating steps up a grade in search of the hat-trick and may struggle to give weight to younger and less-exposed rivals.
