Verdict
Despite refusing to settle, Laugh Out Loud only finished a length behind Chachamaidee when Sir Henry Cecil's five-year-old was awarded the Matron Stakes following a stewards' enquiry at Leopardstown three weeks ago. There may not be much to choose between the pair today and they should both finish ahead of fifth La Collina again. Cecil also runs recent acquisition Beauty Parlour, runner-up in the French Oaks in June. She beat Up in the Poule D'Essai Des Pouliches at Longchamp in May and the Ballydoyle filly has won her last two starts at the Curragh. The likely strong pace should suit Siyouma, a close fifth behind Snow Fairy over 1m2f at Deauville last month, but Gamilati had no answer to Sunday Times' late thrust at Doncaster earlier this month and this is tougher. ELUSIVE KATE beat Golden Lilac at Deauville in July and followed that up with a third in the hotly-contested Jacques le Marois when the likes of Moonlight Cloud, Immortal Verse and Most Improved were behind. She's going to take all the beating if in the same mood here.
