Verdict
There are some interesting types in the line-up including Book Of Music, Corum, Cousteau and Sonny Mac, with the vote going to the first-named. A well-related daughter of Sadler's Wells, the 200,000 guineas purchase Book Of Music catches the eye here. As does Maids Causeway's half-brother Corum, who cost 160,000 guineas. Cousteau's second to Papal Bull on his Leicester debut brings him into the argument, while Escape Clause, a half-brother to Fantastic View, also gets respect. Being from a good stable and related to winners, Matjar should be given some thought, while Prince Zafonic makes some appeal on breeding, but the going might be a concern. Finally, being a 130,000 guineas son of Pivotal, Sonny Mac makes it onto the shortlist in a race where the betting might provide clues. In having to give a selection, we will nominate Book Of Music.
