Verdict
Pip's Baby,Food For Thought and Fraamex look the three to concentrate on in this competitive opener and the narrow vote is given to Pip's Baby. The selection was a fair second behind Fateful Attraction last time out. That form has since been franked and under similar conditions here he will be hard to beat. Food For Thought rates the main danger as he was also a fair second last time out behind Astorygopeswithit but he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and first time blinkers will need to sharpen him up if he is to score. Fraamex is another worthy of respect as he is a well bred type from a top yard and will not need to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Of the remainder George's Flyer is another that has shown a modicum of ability and has definite place claims but he may be seen to better effect in handicaps and for the winner we return to Pip's Baby.
