In depth
Verdict
Filey Buoy,Angel River and Ginger Cookie look the three to concentrate on in another tight affair and the tentative vote is given to Filey Buoy. The selection was a fair second behind Mytons Belle last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and she need only reproduce that effort to win this. Angel River rates the main danger on her best form but she was very disappointing for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Ginger Cookie showed improved form to be third behind Bold Phoenix last time out and is still one of the least exposed in the field so should be watched ion the market. Of the remainder Polesworth and Canary Dancer are others with place claims on there best form but are far from consistent and in a race that throws up more questions than answers and where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Filey Buoy who at least ran well last time out.
