In depth

Verdict

Cloud Atlas, Finsbury and Bel Cantor look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the confident vote is given to Cloud Atlas. The selection ran well last time out in a similar race when second behind Capewarrior the first two clear of the third, this looks easier and he need only reproduce that effort to win this. Finsbury rates the main danger on his debut fourth behind River Bravo he is sure to improve but he has no experience of this surface and for that reason he is opposed. Bel Cantor has had plenty of chances but ran his best race for a while when second behind Hasty Passion last time out. However again he looks vulnerable to a less exposed type. Of the remainder Foreplay is another that has shown a modicum of ability and he could improve for a first time visor but for the winner we return to Cloud Atlas who is taken to break his maiden tag.
