In depth

Verdict

Celestial Force won here and at Wincanton in the autumn but that means he carries a double penalty on his first run since October and stable companion HELL RED makes more appeal. The latter, a winner at Chepstow on his UK debut, travelled strongly for a long way in the Boodles Fred Winter at Cheltenham and, though weakening close home, faces lesser opposition here. Trailboss has a long absence to overcome but is worth a market check with Richard Johnson having a rare ride for Fergal O’Brien.
