Verdict
Ton-Chee and Cubism both won last time out but we side with last year's winner of this race, WHEELAVIT. The selection easily won this race last year and although not showing any victorious form lately we like the look of Claire Dyson's bay gelding and we think he could score here. In his last race at Worcester he finished nine lengths behind Pascha Bere and will need to improve in this contest to realise ambitions. Ton-Chee won his last race and suffers a penalty here but despite this should really push our selection. A very comfortable victory over Nobel in that last race bodes well for Ton-Chee. Cubism is also penalised for a victory after beating Space Telescope by four lengths at Stratford. If showing that sort of performance again then he could double up in this contest. There is also a case to be made for Olivino who is a course and distance winner, but was easily beaten last time and is ruled out of the equation. Our vote goes to Wheelavit to wheel away with the win.
